Based on some of the threads it appears that some are wondering if Milos has any value right now. I definitely think that he does based on the last 2 warm up games Serbia had. Today against Lithuania the announcers said that Milos made the best play of the entire tournament. If he puts up another decent game against team USA the Suns might have another player with trade value on their hands.

First, Milos lead his team over Yao Ming, Del Harris coached Chinese national team. He was 3 of 6 from 3 point range and chipped in 11 points on a very balanced team. He was the 3rd highest scorer. The other 2 leading scorers each had 12 points. For what it is worth I read a blurb in the Los Angeles Times today and they commented on this game and Milos specifically.

Then in a win against Lithuania today Milos was again given kudos for leading his team. He scored 12 points and lead his team with 3 assists. Here is a fun quote from the play-by-play:

"Milos Vujanic (190-G-80) assists for Nenad Krstic (213-C-83) alley-oop and that was one of the beautiest actions on the tournament"

Good. Now let's see if New Jersey will swap him for Kristic. :)

Maybe they should just keep him? Nothing better than trading young, promising prospects!

The only deal that "might" make sense would be to trade Vujanic and Eisley to the Hawks for a future draft pick.

1. It is doubtful that Vujanic will be able to get minutes unless the Suns trade away a bunch of players next summer.

2. Atlanta has no experienced PG's at all, although they may re-sign Sura who is a combo. Eisley and Vujanic would give them two guys who could give them some productivity.

3. Atlanta is almost $11 million under the cap and could afford Vujanic's buyout.

4. This would free up $6.2 million in cap space for the Suns to use in getting a big man.

I would still love Dampier, and Im guessing if we made that trade, he would be willing to sign here for that amount of money. But would Atlanta really take Eisley?

Trade for a pick? He has more value than that! I know that we need to rid ourselves from his ( Eisleys ) contract but to give Vujanic up for a future draft pick and thats it. I would be pissed.

oh this trade is bad and completely unrealistic, but it's that way for Atlanta Phoenix. Forget about the draft pick. That is a mere formality. He would be traded to get rid of Howard Eiseley and the $13 million left on his contract. In order for this trade to be realistic Vujanic would have to look exactly like Steve Nash in these games and in the Olympics and be willing to come over this season. He would have to average more than 2-3 assists per game also.

I figure the Suns are better off holding on to him for the time being.

it was actually a joke. There isn't a snowball's chance in hell New Jersey would trade Kristic for Vujanic.
