Watching now. Thanks for the update. His team is down by 18 right now though. He has 10 points.

Not great so far, but he does lead his team in points and rebounds. However, he has 0 assists at the half which sort of worries me.

Skipper is down 25 at the half.

They're playing Maccabi Tel Aviv. 26 point lead for MAC right now.

He has a nice mid ranger jumper & a mid range floater akin to Marbury's floater. He seems to move quickly laterally, but he's definitely not as fast as Barbosa.

There are very few players as fast as Barbosa, the Brazilian Blur.

Does Vujanic push the ball on the offense?

Jasikecivius on Maccabi is by far the best PG in europe and he went to Maryland and played college ball.

You keeps saying this, but I read a couple places that NBA scouts think he is a possible backup point guard in the NBA or possible starter. I haven't watched today's game yet (I recorded it), but I can't say I was especially impressed with Thursday's performance. In that game he actually looked better defensively than what I expected, but to be honest my expectations were not high. He can really push the ball though. Based on what I've seen so far I would probably rather have Gordon or Harris.

What is the draft status of Jasikecivius? Draft City doesn't list him as available?

As for Gordon, I would worry about his defensive quickness, but he looks like a guy who can play. His shooting and physical strength are very valuable. However, if I wanted someone who is a more polished point guard I'd take Harris.

I like Gordon and Harris. Gordon averaged as many assists as Harris from the shooting guard position though. It could easily see Gordon as a Baron Davis type point guard in the NBA.

That would be my comparison for Ben Gordon = Chauncey Billups. I didn't have a lot of gamefilm of UCONN though, as I didn't expect Suns to have a shot at Okafor and I didn't follow Gordon much - kept eye on Okafor. For some reason Gordon reminds me of a better Khalid Reeves but that was awhile back - not the best of memories. Atleast scoring wise, Reeves didn't have enough PG skills back then or he'd be in league but he did have talent. (go UofA)

I think Gordon will be taken by the Clippers to replace Dooling (at least that is what the Clipper fans are calling for).
