FINALLY! ;) Now if Phoenix will just make the 1 seed official. San Antonio could lose another game and clear this up for us!

This is a relief, Memphis is exactly the team I wanted the Suns to face.
They have depth, but are not playing well since Gasol came back, and I
think we have too much firepower for them. I was a bit worried about Minny
at #8 - that they would magically get their chemistry back and really test the Suns. Denver and Houston also were not good 1st round matchups. Now we just need to win 1 more and clinch!

I was quite surprised the Wolves lost this one. They had a real chance to making the playoffs, especially if the Suns won on Monday thus giving the Spurs little incentive to play their starters in the final game. I think this will be the final nail in the coffin for many of the Wolves players.

Ok, so Griz is our opponent...most likely.

If we win one more, we will be the #1 team right? Either we win more or Spurs lost one more.

i'm not shocked minny lost this one

i always thought they'd make a way in ... but losing to atlanta last week pretty much put the nail in that coffin

the wolves had the favorable schedule, but just couldn't get me done

i just don't know if it makes me a bad person that since the fiance is a wolves fan (as is her entire family) and I'm a sonics if I enjoy pulling for the team that not only won the division, but actually took away any hope ?!?!

This is great news!

I already know several people (myself included) who are going to the Memphis series. JJ always draws a decent Razorback crowd in Memphis.

It looks like a much larger contingent will be on hand for this series.

Maybe we can take some homecourt advantage away from them.

I was hopping to play the Wolves because I feel they are not as good as the Gizz. I don't think it matters which ever team we meet will be a team that is just above .500 and I know we can beat in a series.

I like knowing we'll be playing a team(assumin we get homecourt - fingers crossed) that is completely bumbling and stumbling towards the finish line AND doesn't have playoff hardened vets like Cassel and last year's MVP.

If we get the first seed, I see that series going no more than five games - MAX.

I'll be trying to catch the suns in Memphis as well. Is the series 2-3-2?

if so, i won't need tickets for game 5:)

2-3-2 is only for the Finals. Every other round is 2-2-1-1-1.

I, too, think Griz is a better opponent for us in the playoffs than the Wolves even though we had a little trouble against them.
