Mike Minor pitched six crisp innings to outduel Tim Lincecum, and Chipper Jones homered for the only run as the Atlanta Braves defeated the San Francisco Giants 1-0 Thursday night. The Braves appeared to be at a distinct disadvantage with Minor, filling in with Tommy Hanson on the DL, going against the two-time NL Cy Young Award winner.
