Love watching Alex getting exposed. 60 minutes covered their ass on this one.

I thought the report was weak - they gave a free pass to MLB and didn't ask the questions that needed to be asked.

Not defending A-Rod, but MLB is trying to use him as a scapegoat to deflect from their horrid leadership on this.

That is a distinct possibility, but .... MLB can't hide from the rampant abuse. I don't have a problem with MLB buying evidence, if it is accurate. That 60 Minutes episode was "sensational" and I would assume that it erred on the safe side of the issue. Alex and his PR machine is in a "strike back and sue mode".

It seems that every major sports organization has problems and some of them are trying to reverse the trend. Whatever it takes might be the solution.

Meanwhile, the managers that looked the other way (Joe Torre, Tony LaRussa, etc get into the HOF, and cushy MLB jobs, and the Commissioner that presided over it all stays on.

Great points. The Enablers. Tony LaRussa makes me gag.

A-Rod's lawyer may (or may not) be a great lawyer, but he's about the shadiest looking human being I've ever seen. He definitely shouldn't be A-Rod's front man.
