Well, it makes sense. The D-Backs were counting on these young players to step up into their careers. Montero is a veteran anchor and Prado makes the rest of the lineup function because of his versatility. Montero's numbers are a little disappointing, and I think Prado has been challenged by the adjustment and constant position changes. I would expect bother of their numbers to increase and everyone else's (except maybe Goldy's) numbers to decline.
