Go Cardinals! Yay!!!
Wow. What a great movie, albeit a fairly depressing one.
This is the movie about Aileen Wuornos (Charlize Theron), the female serial killer who was executed in Florida for the murders of 6 men. The movie is told from her point of view, so we get to see life through the eyes of a girl who has been repeatedly raped her entire life and been a prostitute since age 13. As a suicidal, alcoholic hooker in her thirties she finds love with a lesbian, Selma (Christina Ricci) shortly before she begins killing the men she services as a hooker.
Theron's performance is nothing short of amazing. Hands down the best female performance I've seen this year (topping my previous votes for Oksana Akinshina in Lilya 4-Ever and Angela Bettis in May) Theron gets the look, personality, and mannerisms of a trailer-trash hooker down perfectly.
If this is open in your area, I highly, highly recommend seeing this one.
NOTE: Keep an eye out for Kane (Jason Voorhees) Hodder as a biker near the end of the movie
