Montgomerie 'sorry' over reported affair (AP)

European Ryder Cup captain Colin Montgomerie says he's "sorry for the hurt I have caused" after a newspaper reported he had been unfaithful to his wife. The Daily Mirror reported Friday that the 47-year-old golfer had cheated on his wife, Gaynor, with a former neighbor, Joanne Baldwin. The paper said he had ended the relationship and was trying to save his 2-year marriage.
