The Boston Red Sox have some serious momentum right now. Betts is having an otherworldly season, but on Thursday night he put on a one at-bat masterclass titled “I Am A Very Good Baseball Player, Watch How Good I Am.” The Red Sox were playing the Toronto Blue Jays, and were down 2-1 when Mookie came to the plate in the fourth inning. Facing J.A. Happ with the bases loaded, Mookie battled Happ in an epic, nerve-wracking 13-pitch at-bat that ended with a glorious grand slam that put the Sox up 5-2.
