The Orioles announced Sunday that infield prospect Ramon Ramirez was killed in a motorcycle accident Saturday night in his native Dominican Republic. He was 23.

Astros prospect Jose Rosario, age 20, dies in motorcycle accident

The Astros on Monday announced that pitching prospect Jose Rosario died from injuries suffered in a motorcyle accident Sunday in his native Dominican Republic. He was 20.

Signed in 2013, Rosario pitched two seasons in the Astros' system, both at the rookie-league level. He would have turned 21 on Feb. 15.
