I'm not so sure about Larry sticking around either way. With his current cap hit he will have to take a very low salary to play here unless the cardinals say screw it and let it lie.
I can see larry restructuring to try and get a ring before he retires
At 38, Palmer isnt going to play 3 more years. Especially with a nervy shoulder that could act up after any hit. I'm curious what is guaranteed is because thats what he'll play for in the next year or two.

He's 34 not 38. He'll be 35 in December.
Its not as simple as that. We have cap hits from his current contract regardless of what we do of I believe something to the tune of 9 million next year alone.
So he would basically have to play for 1 million salary instead of the 22 million he is scheduled to make for it to make sense.
someone else who monitors it much more closely can break it down for ya
GREAT NEWS
no more john skeltons/Derek andersons for at least a couple more years.
NO GO DRAFT SOME GUARDS!!!!!
p.s.-- probably helps keep larry here

#Cards currently 11.1M under the cap, they could use a portion of that towards Carson Palmer extension.

There's no restructure that is going to give Larry Fitzgerald the $16M he's scheduled to make in 2015. He's going to have to give back some money to get it done.
LOL.
That's interesting, and a good idea. They could roll over that money into 2015, but from a guaranteed money standpoint they're better off pushing it into today than adding more obligations in the future.
