Its in the upper right corner of the ad. Barely visible. Put the mouse up there & when you see the hand, click it.

I'm not buying it!

IMO Floyd isn't fast quick enough, is too big for his skillset & most of all...lacks the desire to be great! I doubt it :D

Michael Floyd. What a dumb draft pick. Duh, lets see what's our strongest position? WR! OK lets draft another one.

Almost as stupid as taking Ryan Williams in the 2nd round. Easy to see why the GM and almost all the coaches got fired even after winning an NFC Championship.

Doesn't matter now, he's on our team. I want him to excel. I pray--pray--he can be a Boldin type dude (even though Boldin had a spectacular rookie year while Floyd did nothing).

It blows my mind that people think this kid is a bust. People complain that he didnt even surpass Andre last year. If you havent noticed, Andre is a good reciever!! We also know that Whiz is not a big fan of playing rookies.

Second of all, there was nobody throwing him the ball!!!! How can you pass judgement on this guy with no QB!? Fitz even had bad numbers!

I saw Floyd make some pretty showtime catches last year.

C'mon guys..

I haven't seen anyone here call him a bust! But when you're picked as high as he was, he better be a stud!!! Somehow I don't think he will ever be.

I certainly have, on numerous occasions. I don't remember names but there were a lot of people in this board who declared him a bust when he hadn't even finished his rookie campaign.

Floyd will have a good year, but my breakout surprise player this year is Rob Housler. He should tear it up this year.

Fitz, Dockett, Peterson, Campbell, Washington.. These five guys have shown that they are pro bowl status over their career whether they made the pro bowl or not..

Anyone else on this team can have a break out year, cuz quite frankly they all sucked last year.. I'm ready to see about 3-4 guys have break out years.. Floyd, Ryan Williams, Housler, Rashad, Dan Williams, Acho, Schofield.. Any of these guys .. I've excluded rookies for obvious reasons..

I remember Larry not looking like Superman until a few seasons in . . .

58 catches . . . 780 yards.

45 catches . . . 562 yards.

Pretty unspectacular rookie years. Should have dumped both of those guys.

Fitz played with a high ankle sprain for most of his rookie season. Had a similar QB situation, Josh McCown and Shaun King and John Navarre, and Boldin missed almost half the season. And still had over 200 more yards and six more TDs than Floyd.

Just what we needed, another WR who can't get separation but can make the occasional circus catch. Picking WRs based on their run blocking skills and RBs based on their pass blocking skills. No wonder the Cards are always 5-11.

Oh I forgot. The 2004 team was exceptional. They won 6 games.

Take a look at the highlights of Micheal Floyd from his rookie year

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGRbxqFh27E

There is a reason people across the NFL are excited for the guy. He makes the difficult catches. Doesn't shy away from contact and absolutely eats CBs for lunch in the running game.

Watch the video and evaluate the player for what he does, not where he is picked. I am pretty sure you will see a big, tough WR who knows how to handle himself on the field and got better throughout the year. Throw out stats and just take a look at the way he plays the position.

I think Housler could catch a decent amount of balls if he can make it on the field. His blocking was bad enough last year that it makes me wonder if BA is going to run him out there without major changes to Housler's motivation, effort, and technique of blocking. He will be given every chance and likely penciled in as the starter.

I agree JC. I think Floyd will have a great year now that we have someone to throw him the ball & more experience. Bucky is one of the biggest pessimist on this board. I have yet to see him say anything positive about anyone on the team.

And, conversely, Michael Floyd barely got any playing time the first six games of the season. Fitz started from the get-go.

Yessir Floyd was such a stud he couldn't even beat out Early Doucet and a punt returner from the Citadel.

Fitz meanwhile was so good he immediately beat out Nate Poole.

Floyd will be just fine.

Especially with our legitimate QB. A QB who can even throw open receivers.

Floyd had a rough start like many NFL rookies, and had absolute trash throwing to him. Put all that together and I'm surprised Floyd's numbers were that high.

Obviously some could say they'd of rather had a lineman or pass rusher. Or even at the time a QB like Wilson.

But overall he has talent, we got him, and now Graves is gone. I say it's the best of both worlds.

As a top 15 draft pick he needs to be better than just fine. Arians thinks Levi Brown is just fine. Meanwhile Adrian Peterson is considered the best player in the NFL!

Yeah ur right that's why I've said in a few earlier posts I think this team can compete for the NFC title in 2 year...I think Carson will be that good. I called a magical year in 2008 after the Cowpies game, said Fitz would be great the day we drafted him, etc.

Being not always upbeat about this team isn't always easy when 5 out of every 10 years this franchise is 5-11. :D

Just because I don't agree with some of our draft strategies doesn't make me wrong. IMO this team has been ignoring the edge rusher & Oline with high picks for too many years now, instead drafting offensive players with questionable abilities to stay healthy (RB) & guys with questionable character (WR, FS).

The edge rusher, most posters touted last year, Ingram, had one sack.

Should have passed on Floyd and taken OLB Mercilus like I told them to. 6 sacks playing part time. He'd have had 10-15 sacks playing for Horton.
