Ok, I haven't seen many movies these past few years (except for kids movies or LOTR, you know, the really important movies). We borrowed some movies from a friend who is an avid DVD collector.

One of them was Perfect Storm. I don't care if it was based on a true story or not, that ending PISSED me off! I sat there with my jaw down, staring at the tv like I was waiting for something else to happen. (If you haven't seen the movie, stop reading this post now.) I was so rooting for them to make it, then they all just drown! WTF?!?!

Ok, on with my rant. My other most upsetting movie is Thelma & Louise. I don't care what people say, I can't stand that movie! I guess I'm just a sucker for a happy ending.
:soapbox:

If they did in fact all drown, in reality, how else is it supposed to end?
Oh, I understand that it was based on reality, but I was just not expecting that! I was putting my dd back to bed at the beginning of the movie, so I missed the part that said it was based on real events, so I was a bit shocked. I also wonder, if they all drown, how the heck did the makers of the movie know what happened to them all out in the water? So if that was all Hollywood-ized, then why the heck couldn't they have let the one guy who got out of the boat live gosh darn it!

I was disappointed in Titanic. I really thought that it was unsinkable. :(
Oh, you're a funny one. :p (Hey Renz, aren't you Shannon's old friend?)

I was living and working in Boston at the time the Andrea Gale was lost at sea. If you had seen the news coverage, read about these guys, and seen the family members left without husbands and fathers, I think you'd feel differently. Unless you're just a selfish, heartless prick.
