How can I find out which brand/model # a computer is using? I'm guessing through system information.

My grandma bought a new Dell a year and a half ago, moved a couple months after that and somehow screwed up her motherboard. Well according to the dude that came to her house and fixed it for her. It was still under warranty and she didn't use it or call me about it. (OLD PEOPLE :bang: )

Thanks.

If it is a Dell you can get all the information if you have the service tag.

Go to support.dell.com and enter the service tag and you can see warranty info and system configuration info.
