This is another of my all time favorites. I'm not much of a Brad Pitt fan, but he is absolutely phenomenal in this movie portraying Early, a redneck freak parolee, who with his trailer trash girlfriend, Adele (Juliette Lewis), go on a cross-country trip with a writer (David Duchovny) and photographer.
The quirkiness of Pitt's Early really crack me up. He have some unforgettable one-lines in this movie.
This is directed by Dominc Sena, who also was involved with:
Swordfish (2001)
Gone in Sixty Seconds (2000)
from IMDB:
Brian Kessler, a journalist researching serial killers, and his photographer girlfriend Carrie set out on a cross-country tour of the sites of the killings. Sharing the ride and their expenses are Early Grayce, a paroled white trash criminal, and his girlfriend Adele. As the trip progresses, Early begins to appear more and more unstable, and Brian and Carrie begin to fear that they may have a real-life serial killer in the back seat of their car.
