I'd like to thank Amazon.com one last time fopr the following...Also.. until the next time I have the privilege of sharing my favorite movies with everyone:

Adam Sandler fans will find the animated movie 8 Crazy Nights to be another flowering of Sandler's absurdist goofiness. People who find Sandler completely annoying will be triply annoyed by 8 Crazy Nights, because Sandler does the voices for three different characters: Davey Stone, a boozing, belching, self-loathing loser who hates the holidays; Whitey, a tiny old man who tries to rehabilitate Davey; and Eleanor, Whitey's neurotic twin sister, who seems not to have left her house in years. Fans will find the slapdash musical numbers and scatological humor hilarious; foes will find them tiresome and banal. But even Sandler's advocates won't care about the by-the-numbers plot of holiday redemption; you see, Davey's parents died on the first night of Hanukkah, and he just needs to cry about it. Sandler's best when he's walking that line between stupid and smart-ass. When he gets sentimental, it's trouble. --Bret Fetzer

Personal Note:
First, I must admit that I struggled with the idea of choosing "Eight Crazy Nights" since it's constantly ridiculed/lambasted by critics and its viewers alike (although I never care about what critics say anyways) and I bet I might be flamed for this selection as well, but it is the only Hollywood Hanukkah devoted film ever made... True, it may lack substance (especially in the sense that it doesnt get into the holiday traditions/customs..etc) .. true, it might be both lewd and vulgar (making the film unsuited for anyone younger than 13), but Adam Sandler and his comedic genius make this an interesting outtake of what Hanukkah is regardless of how twisted it might be.....
True.. "Eight Crazy Nights" is probably the most unconventional holiday film ever made... the "anti-holiday" movie ....however..it embodies a different perspective and spirit of its own and does accomplish its main objective.. which is to make those crack-up hysterically (especially during a time which is known for severe depression)... Some times you need some levity during the holidays and this is extremely ideal on that regard as well....
