Evil Ash
Henchman Supreme
Alright, I know I have to be extremely careful in terms of describing this movie due to the fact that the majority of you have not seen or have even heard of this movie. However, I will give it a try ...
Stars: John Turturro, Bob Nelson, Mel Smith
SYNOPSIS: A lunatic lawyer and his two addled sidekicks hatch a harebrained scheme to take control of a fledgling ballet company run by a wealthy widow. The zany trio figure they'll be on easy street if they can land cushy jobs running the company, but there are a few obstacles in their way -- namely a greedy, ambulance-chasing lawyer who has other plans for the dowager's money and a snooty, egotistical dancer who fancies himself a "living legend" in the ballet world.
The movie is somewhat of a remake of the Marx Brothers' movie classic "A Night At the Opera". Unfortunately this is why this didn't receive very high reviews from some movie critics ... since someone had the audacity
to do such a thing as remake a Marx Brothers film.
The comedy I can only describe as a mix of hilarious 1-liners (ala Bruce Campbell) and plenty of slapstick comedy similar to the 3 Stooges. The first time I watched this movie, there were times that I was laughing so hard that I was crying. You may have to watch this movie a couple of times so that catch all of the lines you missed from laughing so hard the time before. This movie also features the funniest scene that I have ever watched in a movie near the end of this movie which I can't even put into words how funny this scene was.
IMO This film is just mindless fun at its highest!!
So in short ...
GO SEE THIS MOVIE!! That of course is based on whether or not you can even find it.
Favorite Line(s): "Well you know the old saying ... '3's company and 4 is an adult movie"
