Mozilla lost sound

Hey guys,

I lost my sound on Mozilla. It only plays sound occassionally but not consistantly. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Is this with Firefox? and what files are they: mp3,wav or MPEG.

It is just with firefox and it is not all sounds just some. I have a little chatroom associated with my webpage and it doesn't play the welcome sound when people jump in. So my wife and I keep missing family members. Also, some pages that have sond associated with them don't work.

While here, my bank also won't allow me to pull up my checking account ever since I got Firefox...

Other than that, I love it. Even speed it up and it moves quicker...

For the sound problem,click on tools-options-downloads and look at file types and see if sound files associated with them is on the list. For your bank web page,this is an ongoing problem with those sites,my bank Bank One,I have to view it in IE still. Here is a extension that will allow you to right click on the link and view it in IE.View it in IE . More and more sites are retooling to allow it to work with FireFox. Hope this helps

No, it does not work in IE either. Could be a security setting I need to change. Any suggestions for that??? And still working on the sound. THanks for your help...
