Music Clip / Ringtone / Song Editing Program

Hey guys,

I have a blackberry and I would like to use certain clips of songs as my ring-tones. Does anyone know of some software that I can use to cut the songs down to just the clips that I want.

Anyone know of some user friendly, free type software I can use???

I really have no idea what would be good.

if you go to mixxer.com they allow you to create ringtones and you can download them to your blackberry. It allows you to select any 30 second segment of a song and create a ringtone out of it. I ahve the Blackberry pearl and the ringtones sound clear as a bell. PM me if you have any more quetsions about it.

Problem is that the Pearl can accept MMS messages. The Verizon Wireless 8830 unfortunately cannot.

I will mess around on the site and see if they give me the ability to crop, then re-save my song clip. Thats really all I need.

Anyone else have any ideas?

You can just go to the website on your phone and enter your locker and download the ringtones from there.

Does it have a slot for an SD or Mini SD card? I just handed over about 40 ringtones that I made to my friend for his Blackberry Curve, and he's loving it.

Audacity, I believe it is called, is decent, I personally use Apple's Garageband.

If you're just looking for a few tones, I would be happy to make them for you, provided you have a way to put them on your phone. I can make them available for download pretty easy for you, just let me know.

Yeah, I have a 4GB card. I think I found a way to get it done on mixxer though. I have all of the Bourne movies on my card also. My 8830 is almost as good as my ipod now. lol
