Avril Lavigne-she is trendy and kind of annoying, but I love the voice and man is she hot. Ieven have Complicated as a song on my phone, it is assigned to my ex-wife, she does not find it funny.

I take it "guilty" as in...it goes against what type of music you normally listen to, or music that your buddies would say to you..."please, c'mon man" :D

Well then... :D

I have to agree--I think we have assembled a list of some darn fine artists! Okay, some of my guilty pleasures (in addition to many already named) include:

MilliVanilli--who cares who was really singing
Wham
Air Supply
2 Live Crew, Too Short, and EZ E - back in the day

Okay, that should do for now!

The funny thing is that I know you so well, so I know you are telling the truth.

I can't think of any bands that I listen to that I could consider "guilty" but there are two songs in my library that I kept private (until now) and those are:

Can't Get You Out of My Head - Kylie Minogue
No Diggity - Blackstreet

that's about it.

(Milli Vanilli) :lmao:

Hootie and the Blowfish - Saw them at the Tempe block party one year. Good stuff.

That's exactly what I meant by Music Guilty Pleasure... Let's just say that I even laugh at several of the bands I listed... I mean... take for example Hall & Oates.... "Private Eyes", "Maneater", and "Family Man" are songs that my friends and I always joke around about.....

I admit Lou Bega obviously isnt the best musician, but I do actually love "Mambo #5" and "Tricky Tricky"... just 2 songs since the first time I heard them back in '99 just caught onto me.....

I know of course everyone is entitled to their own taste/opinion, but I must confess if a friend of mine approached me and actually admitted that they enjoyed Barry Manilow, John Tesh, or Dan Fogelberg (or someone of that sort) then I'd give them some good natured ribbing.....

Wow... I am shocked to notice that listed in this thread... That's absolutely nothing to be ashamed of when it comes to enjoying their music... Have people criticized you for listening to them in the past?

Their first album was just awesome, however, unfortunate they sold-out.. Although...I sometimes might check-out certain songs off of "14:59" because they bring back memories of the time of its release....

Down South rap. Paul Wall, Youngbloodz, Trillville, Mike Jones etc. I have to make sure no one else is around when I listen.

And I love Chaka Khan solo along with most songs by Sade.... Lord... I'll regret that I mentioned any of those when I read this tomorrow morning....

1) Fatboy Slim
2) Robbie Williams
3) "Bette Davis Eyes" - Kim Carnes.. used to jam to that when I was younger
4) Billy Squier (especially "Everybody Wants You")
5) Bow Wow Wow (always loved their remake of "I Want Candy")

This is something I have told no one, all I listen to is hardcore underground rap, thats it, I don't even like 50 cent on all that commercial rap because it is too girly, I listen to that only. But 3 bands I find myself listening and secretly liking are Steve Miller Band, Backstreet Boys and some old Marilyn Manson, I do not like boy band crap, Rock or Manson Genre, stuff. So I think it's weird I catch myself listening and likeing those 3, I would never admit it to anyone who knew me either.
