And I can't remember in all of my life where we won the game on a bomb. And I can't remember a game where we had 2 played over 70 yards in the same game.

Heard a stat that this is only the 18th time a qb has thrown tow TDs of 75+ in a game. Ever. It's never been done 3 times.

I think we may see it three times this year.

6-1 with wins over the Eagles, Niners and Chargers. One loss, on the road, with our backup, and then our backup backup QB going against the Broncos. Pretty amazing.

50 years for me. Let's not forget Hart to Gray & Lomax to Green. They had long touchdowns pretty much EVERY week. We just didn't have a defense in those years.

But I don't think they ever had a 70+ yard bomb for a winning TD late in the game. At least not to my recollection. Of course Hart hold the distinction of throwing the longest pass that didn't go for a TD.

Yep...

...oh, and this is 45 years for me as well.

That 7-0 start in '74 was glorious...after getting teased each Monday morning in school after a Cardinals loss in the past, 1974 was the year where the other kids didn't want to see me.

Until the wheels came off a bit towards the end of the season, and then they got blasted by the Vikings in the playoffs.

Oh well.

Yeah - 1 yard line to the other 1 yard line.

That was to Bobby Moore (aka Ahmad Rashad), right?

Younger or "new" fans just dont understand. The struggle was real back in the day. By this point in the season the Cardinals were usually somewhere in the 1-6 to 3-4 range and the season was over. We had to entertain ourselves with talk of playing spoilers and dream of 10 game winning streaks to put give us a chance at a wildcard. Will this be another 4-12 season? Who will be the coach next year? These are the questions we used to ponder in week 8...

I remember as a kid in the 80s and 90's looking at teams who were 6-1 and thinking; 'man what's that like?' :) Raise your hand if you got teased for wearing Cardinals gear to school in the early-mid 90's!

These are uncharted waters my friends. Enjoy it! I am loving every minute of it. Go CARDS!

I am loving it also. Older than you so never really had th issue of wearing Cards gear at school. When I came back to the states in 1988 after the Air Force caught all kinds of crap from family and friends because I still support the Big Red. Still catch crap from family but do not care. Wear my Cards gear all around town and nobody cares.

Even the glorious year of 2008 we were 4-3 at this point. Right now at this point we only need to go 4-5 to make the playoffs but I want this team to finally get a bye. Realistically I see us going 5-4 at worst finishing 11-5 and being at worst the #2 seed.

Been a fan since they moved here in what 1988? Neil Lomax, Stump Mitchel, Roy freakin Green, Al Del Greco! Ha ha! I was a Lions fan prior to that only because of Sanders.

47+ for me...started in 67'....

Having been through so many years of disappointment...playing in the NFC East (the "home" of Super Bowl Champions) early on and the tough stretch in AZ., its been pretty tough being a Cards' fan. The players did try to win but the f/o was at best inept and each year we were pretty much an after-thought. At best, a possible "dark-horse" because we did have some talented players on the roster.

When I look at my team now, I can only SMILE! I see "professionalism" from top to bottom; I see a strong and excited fan-base; I read "comments" from around the league saying...DON'T sleep on Arizona! ...and so on...

My friends....ENJOY!!! :D

MARK IN SC :)

48 years for me, started my freshman year in high school, 1967.

Jim Hart was just getting started (maybe his rookie year?) and Jackie Smith were the offensive stars (I don't think there were any defensive "stars" LOL). Jim Baaken, I think was kicking then. Been too long to remember who else.

Anyway, I think that was when I started following football seriously and the Cardinals became my team.

I think it was Jim Bakken kicking.

I am excited but also realize after the Dallas game our remaining schedule coming up is brutal. Only realistic easy games are the Rams. Road games against Atlanta, Seattle and San Fran will be tough. I am putting Atlanta in there because the NFC South is just aweful and they are only 1 1/2 games out of the division lead so they could be fighting for the division title.

Lions, Chiefs and Seattle at home are not going to be easy.
