I'm not a huge Taylor fan, but I could certainly live with this.

Henderson is regarded as one of the biggest sleepers in the draft. He could be a steal...

I think Henderson will be a very good WR in the NFL. Glad you liked it

I like this draft a lot. Only small concern is that the Cards don't draft a 2 gap DT.

How about Rodney Leisle from UCLA? 6'3" 300lbs. Not much of a pass rusher but is supposed to be very strong and tough against the run.

He could be available in the 3rd or 4th round.

Defensive draft:

Sean Taylor/MI S
Strait /OU cb
Thomas/AUB LB
R Leisle/ucla dt

Isn't Henderson the WR who caught the TD 3 seconds remaining and the other team was already celebrating and gave their coach Gatorade shower just to see Henderson catch a TD?

I like Strait, but, what about taking a QB late?

Why take a QB in the late rounds?

Boo! #33 overall is way too high for Derrick Strait. He'll get taken in the high fifties.

Otherwise: Two offensive linemen? I'd be shocked (shocked!) to see that happen.

Vasher in the third? Are you insane, or are you just looking at a nine-month old draft guide? Nathan Vasher is listed as going to the Rams at the bottom of the third round, and he'd be lucky to go there.

Reaches all over the place, but I like the Sean Taylor pick. Unfortunately, I don't know who you're trading with; there's no way he lasts until the Browns' pick.

Maybe Josh would play better if the Cards draft his Brother?????

Highly doubt it. Plus I dont see a late round draft pick as an upgrade over the two back-ups we already have.

Bet the price of a six pack of choice that Strait doesnt last until the fifties? He wont make it past the 30s! there are no reaches in the draft. You never know how its going to shake out.

How about we split the difference. Over/under (you're in Vegas, right) on Strait at 45? 12er of PBR?

You sound like Mac trying to justify taking Calvin Pace: "You're a first-round pick if you're taken in the first round. Seriously."

Ok Ill take the under. My six pack runs about 5.99 FYI! :D

Nope its just the facts. The draft can be as unpredictable as earthquakes.

I'd be stoked if the draft worked out this way! I especially like the Farmer pick at #6!

The only thing I would disagree with is taking Vasher at #3 if we got Strait at #2. I think we have to look at a big DL at #3.

i'd be pretty stoked if the draft played out like this, but even more happy if switched the wr/cb slots in the second. say a combo like woods at 33 and colclough/batman/poole with the second second.

My only concern is that with the expected run on CBs in the first round none of those guys will be there. I think we have a better chance getting a quality WR mid/late 2nd round.
