1. Dec. 27 Holiday bowl. ASU/Texas.
One of the very best match-ups. I can't find it now but one guy writing for TSN rated this game as the 3rd best game this bowl year.
As I see it: Texas has more talent. ASU has better coaching. Toss-up.
Prediction: None. Will be a good game decided late.
Go Devils.

2. Jan 7. LSU/Ohio State
Prediction: Wipe out. LSU big. I hate both teams but Tressel doesn't get enough credit for being perhaps the very best coach in college football.

3. Jan 2. Fiesta bowl. Okla/West Virginia. The best pairing of the season.
Prediction: None, except I will watch.

Of the rest, I'll watch S. Florida/Oregon on Dec. 29 to see the nation's leading rusher; Penn St/A&M just because; USC/Illinois to better judge the Illini.

That's it. The rest are boring to me.

Ajcardfan was right. This was the best college season ever and is topped off with three really good bowl pairings.

2005 was the best college season ever and it was topped off with the best BCS title game ever and Boise State's wild upset of OU in the Fiesta Bowl.

Couldn't ask for more.

The Texas Tech-Virginia game should be good as I don't think the Cavs have seen anything like what TT does on offense and I want to see how the QB from Hawaii does against a quality team like Georgia.

Other than that the only way to make the rest of the games interesting is to bet something on them.

I am interested in the Rose and the Sugar, because I am rooting hard against Illinois and Hawaii, both arrogant fanbases that have no reason to be.

Rivals rated it #2.

I'm interested in ASU first obviously, but I'll be watching all of them. I don't care. None of the BCS games really interest me that much. Not very good match-ups there.

Excuse me? How are Illini fans arrogant? The team had a great year, after sucking for five. Illinois has as much claim on a BCS bowl as ASU.

I despise USC and would be thrilled if Illinois beat them.

Hawaii will wish they had stayed home, except for the bowl money income, which they need.

I don't know about them being arrogant but...

They lost more games than ASU and played in one of the worst BCS conferences this season, the Big 10 was just bad this season...they didn't deserve the Rose Bowl. USC will crush them.

The leading rusher is Kevin Smith and he goes to Central Florida which is playing Mississippi State in the Liberty Bowl on December 29th. Hell of a back.

On a side note: Ivan Maisel has his All-American team on ESPN.com now, and he gave the Kicker nod to the New Mexico kicker. Sounds like it was charity because he has no ACL in his left knee. It continues to amaze me the amount of disprespect ASU gets nationally. But thats how it has been all season and I am glad we are the underdogs against Texas. I cant wait to destroy those arrogant longhorns. Go Devils!

Big 10 was down, yes, but not that much below the Pac 10. Illinois actually beat 5 teams with winning records, played Missouri better than any team besides OU.

ASU beat only one team with a winning record, and got CRUSHED at home by USC.

So even if USC crushes Illinois, that proves nothing versus ASU...

On the other hand Illinois lost to unranked Iowa and Michigan. ASU lost to then #5 Oregon and current #6 (#11 at the time) USC.

But I will say this for both teams, at least they didn't play non-conference games against Youngstown State and Akron or Arkansas State and Rice.

Thanks for correcting that Devilpride. I will watch it.
