My Cousin's Girl on Deal or No Deal!

Doesn't sound like much, but she's practically family...they have a baby together and will be married after college. At any rate, she's absolutely crazy, in a good way. I describe her as Elaine from Seinfeld, only without the bitterness or cynicism. Well, she was on tonight...got offered 123 but turned it down. She did right, too, because she had eliminated many of the low numbers. Unfortunately, the next round she eliminated two of the big numbers, so they dropped the offer to 77. Now, I would have taken the 77, given the odds (slightly out of her favor) of winning the big bucks, but she passed...and will finish next time. She cannot mention word of how she did to anyone who wasn't at the show because, well, she wouldn't get the money if she leaked it. So I'll have to wait until next Friday...yeehaw!

A really good buddy of mine was on the show. He is a SWAT officer for us. He walked away from the show with 389,000 IIRC. ----> JEALOUS!

I hope your cousin can be as fortunate stout. What big #s are left on the board?

damn small world. she seem like a really energetic girl headbutting Howie and everything. she can still win 500,000. should be an interesting ending. it would be so hard not to tell people about the show. She seemed like a nice girl wanting to take her dad to Italy. Hope her dads OK man.

Um, I don't know the show that well. I know 2 mill and 1 mill are gone, but like the next four or five big #s are still there.

Sadly, no, her father will probably never be okay. I can't remember exactly what the problem is, but I think it's like cancer around the neck area. I know he's had multiple surgeries and is always in a lot of pain. Incredibly nice guy, though, and nice family. They may look crazy, but they have a ton of class.

$300 that sucked! that had to be the worst streak of luck ive seen on that show. I really hope her spirits don't get crushed after tat show and shes ok.

I haven't talked to her yet, but she'll be all right. Classic example of the heart ruling the head and of family completely submarining your efforts. They egged her on when it was clear she was not playing smart, and she continued to try to get huge money when big money was available. She should have taken the 77 last week, and on each successive offer I was begging her to take it. Even at the end, she could have walked with 11,000. Oh well.
