He got the letter in the mail. He is buying them for $800 a piece but is selling them to whoever offers the most for them. Since they aren't mine to sell I'm asking here first so that a Cards fan has a chance at them. Business is slow for him so its either SuperBowl or drop his season tickets and he doesn't want to do that.

I thought you had to pick them up in person in Tampa.

I dont know. He just called me saying he got two tickets and is going to try and sell them so we have season tickets next year. I'm desperately trying to get him to keep them and take his loving son but I don't think its working out to well for me.

I received a letter saying I could purchase two $525 tickets. I wonder why these are the only ones that have to be picked up in Tampa? Suppose they would be the easiest to scalp?

Yeah, those you have to pick up in Tampa. Makes it a bit more difficult to scalp locally.

That's exactly the reason why, and consider yourself lucky from the article I read on SB tickets only 1,000 of the $525 seats went to AZ and Pitt each.

I don't think that's quite right. The article I read said 1,000 total between them, or 500 to each team.

I am, indeed, lucky (especially since I shamed my dad into not insisting on a profit for his ticket since his granddaughter was the buyer).

I heard these tickets are considered "discounted" by the NFL. I'm not certain what the means exactly

I read that the reason for picking them up in Tampa is to promote people to travel to the game, and spend money on hotels, rent a cars....food...ect.
