This may be difficult to pull off, but my ideal line-up would be Nash, Setephen Jackson, Marion, Amare, and Dalembert. JJ would have gone in the trade for the center, and Jackson would been given the rest of our cap space, or at least most of it. It may be a pipe dream, but this would be an incredibly atheletic and fun group to watch get up and down the court.

I agree. Why would Philly want to give him up. Well, it never nurts too much to dream.

I do have concerns about Jackson. He has been a little "shady" ever since his UOFA recruitment days. I would prefer Swift and Cardinal.

Jackson is erratic, bad attitude and inconsistent. No thanks.

The problem with Jackson is that he is way too selfish and average defender.

Suns should get Richardson or Barry, if not trade Marion+JJ for pierce or Carter and resign Dice.

We didn't offer Marion and JJ for TMac. We will never offer both for Carter or Pierce.

You don't know what the Suns did or did not offer for TMac. Only the people in the room or over the phone knows for sure what was and wasn't offered.

Of course, they would have to add draft picks or something.

Marion alone will not get pierce or carter. JJ is expendable once they sign Richardson/Barry to come along with Pierce/Carter.

Bryan Colangelo basically said on the radio that Marion and Johnson would not be packaged together.

We have to remeber Marion was picked by the Suns, traditionaly the Suns like to keep the ones they hand picked. I for one like Marion he is good player he isn't even in the top 30 of player's salary and I would say he is a top 30 player. And he has never had an issue out side of the courts.

I agree that Marion is a wonderful player. He seemed to lose some of his aggressiveness last year after he got chopped on a drive. He was too content shooting 3's last year. I am hoping, if he is not traded, to revert back to form with Nash at the helm.

It all will depend on Marion wanting to change. It has been stated from Frank Johnson and Mike that he hasn't changed and would prefer to shoot from the outside. This could be the only reason the Suns would look to trade him. With Amare and JJ looking to get big raises the Suns may look to move his contract if he doesn't fit into the system.

If they have told him to shoot less from long range, then I say we should trade him. He is simply not a 3 point shooter. He is a slasher and garbage guy. If he won't fit with the program, then trade away!

I am sure they will give him this year to work on that. Last year was bad becouse the team went though alot of changes and no really knew were they fit in.
