Assuming we sign an LT in free agency with DD restructuring his contract.

Thoughts?

Okay with #1
Amazed if #2 is available
Thrilled with #3
Gotta Do it with #4
No thanks to #5
No thanks to #6, don't want a coke head on the team
We don't have a 7th rd pick at this point. If we do don't want a 2nd SS.

Agree with this though I like Huff cause he's physical and block. Would rather him in the 7th though. Haha is overrated but his combine will be huge cause his athleticism was exposed this year. Picks 2-4 are great value but unrealistic.

If that's the draft I'm thrilled but no way those guys are there in rounds 2-3 especially Jenkins. I'd be happy with him in round 1.

Cardiac, you said you don't want a second SS with our seventh round pick (which we don't have). Our #1 pick shows as a FS, so my question is Clinton-Dix a FS, which we don't need or a SS, which we do need?

I'd be a decent draft. Odds are all those players wouldn't slide that far (some might). But they also said they want to maintain physicality in this division. Don't see much of that along the front lines.

I like it but not very realistic. I don't think any of the players in each round will fall to us but who knows since the draft is so far away. Clinton-Dix would be a great pick. Jenkins is a bit of a headcase but he has talent no doubt but he strikes me as a more likely bust than star. Sam would be a great pick in the 3rd. No problems there. Mettenberger in the 4th is good value but if he is drafted to be our franchise qb, God help us....

CARDINALS 2014 MOCK DRAFT
RD 1 - Ha'Sean Clinton-Dix FS, Alabama
RD 2 - Austin Seferian-Jenkins TE, Washington
RD 3 - Michael Sam OLB, Missouri
RD 4 - Zach Mettenberger QB, LSU
RD 5 - Josh Huff WR, Oregon
RD 6 - Colt Lyerla TE, Oregon
RD 7 - C.J. Barnett SS, Ohio State
Thoughts?

I really like this draft. I think you like some of the same players I do. Clinton-Dix and Seferian-Jenkins are great talents. Huff, Lyerla, and Sam could all contribute in special teams and on the field their first year and have the potential to develop into much more.

Personally I do not care for Mettenberger. His receivers were so much better than the competition that it seemed he was always throwing to wide open people. Very tough to evaluate. Reminds me of Leinart in that respect. Mettenberger does have a much stronger arm.

We need a SS, not a FS

and just about every other player is too low. We can all wish, but truth is that most of your guys will be a full round earlier drafted

Besides Colt, whos a punk ass chump. Dont let that disease into your lockeroom
