So I hear that the Cardinals have not heard back from Stewart concerning their contract offer.....no counter proposal, no "Thank you for the offer", nothing.

To further that, it seems that the Cardinals were still meeting with Blake late this evening and Blake was quoted as saying he wants to get a deal done NOW!

I think we are going to read tomorrow that Jeff Blake has agreed to a contract with the Cardinals

I agree. I think Blake is the better option. Less money, more consistent QB. Thats what we really need. Give him a contract in the 3 million range. Stewart wants Chicago. I think Blake is also older @ 32 so he can tutor McCown and our newly selected QB in the draft. Three years Blake can turn the reigns over.

Then sign Hodkins, pound the ball then go deep!

I want blake over kordell too

Kordell is WAY TOO inconsistent. He's faster though..But I would rather have a qb that is fairly consistent than one that can run fast.

Cheaper too.

I remember him when he first set fire to the league with the bengals...I liked him then...hopefully I'll be seeing he's on the cards tomorrow.

But I hope he is only the starter until (leftwich/other rookie qb, or mccown are ready)...but until then...he will fit just fine.imo.

I just looked at his stats...and unlike plummer, or kordell, the only season he had more ints than tds was his rookie season when he attempted only 9 passes.

These blow away either jake or kordell
And he's the cheapest?
Sign him now graves...let chicago have another sucky qb

I want blake...I want blake

Okay, please please PLEASE (on offense):

Sign Blake(incentive-laden)
Sign Conway(incentive-laden)
Sign Marcus Robinson (incentive-laden)
Draft Leftwich, RD 1
Draft Faine (if there) RD 2
Go defense the rest of the draft.

PLEASE (on defense)
Sign Holliday
Sign Okeafor
Sign Jackson/Knight
GO defense rounds 3-7

If we did this, I will contend that we'd be a contender THIS year. That's right, you heard it here first. Of course, if we pull this off, I'll volunteer to bear Graves' children, and I'm a guy, for Pete's sake!!!

Blake, yes! Conway, ok but I don't think he will sign and incentive laden deal. Robinson, you have to trade for him because he is still under contract and his agent has been given permission to seek a trade...although I really like the idea of getting him.

I think at this point the Cards will have to choose between Okeafor and Holliday and it appears they have chosen Holliday since he has the offer on the table.

Okeafor and holliday..personally, I think holliday is much better. okeafor has basically one year as a starter, is pretty small and not all that fast..
