Acting legend Sir Michael Caine claims ISIS has forced him to change his name — to Michael Caine.
The Cockney star, 83, had his birth name, Maurice Micklewhite, on his passport.
He was constantly questioned over why he had a different moniker on his passport but has now officially changed his name by deed poll to avoid the confusing line of queries — which would always hold him up when boarding flights.
Michael said: “I changed my name when all the stuff started with ISIS and all that.”
Referring to his experience with security guards at airports, he explained: “He would say, ‘Hi Michael Caine,’ and suddenly I’d be giving him a passport with a different name on it.
“I could stand there for an hour. So I changed my name.”
