My neighbor is putting up a huge black raider flag on her house right now.

What should I do?

She is an elderly woman she just moved here about a month ago. I havent really liked her so far because I mow her lawn and walk her dog for her and she never gives me anything, and shes kinda rude about it.

I dont even think shes going to the game, she doesnt really go out much.

I forgot to mention, I grocery shop for her once a week. She gets really pissed If i accidently pick the wrond brand or something, I just way to tell her to **** off, but my parents basically make me do it. They think I have an obligation to, because I'm a "strong young teenager that needs to do community service". Whatever.

Here's your way out! From now on refer to her as that raider hag and refuse to help her out.

As we've seen in the past, the best and most effective way of dealing with the Raider Nation is to discuss the situation at hand in a calm and productive manner.

Here's an example for reference;

Perhaps she is the one on the right?? If so, do nothing, move away from the keyboard and shelter in place.

LOL that would be a good idea... too bad I suck at mowing.

The funny thing is... she moved next to two HUGE cards fans. not only me, but my neighbor is one of the hugest cardinals fans I've ever seen. she has her SUV decorated all over with cardinals stuff (red and white streamers, stickers, dolls everything) And she has a cardinals shrine in her house that takes up a whole closet full of cardboard stand-ups, dolls, cards, and other stuff. (she has since moved, my sister is best friends with her daughter, and she told me about the shrine.)

Sorry to be slightly-anal and "parent-y," but community service is a very good thing and it's unfortunate that you're so negative about it.

As for you flag situation, why not just put up a 10x as big Cardinal flag to show her flag up!

Doesn't Orkin or Terminix use coverings like that when they plan on fumigating a household to rid it of its pests?

I'd walk her lawn and mow her dog. Then I'd buy her all kinds of screwed up stuff next time I went shopping for her (also pick-up a case of beer on her tab while I was there). After going through a couple of dogs, and thousands of dollars on beer, cigars, and hot wheels she'd tell my parents that she is getting by fine without your help. As for the flag, guess i'd collect some moths and let them get after it.

The only reason I keep doing it is because I really realize that she needs my help. A few weeks ago, she broke her arm after I came around the side door to feed her dog. She was trying to open the door while I was outside, and her stupid dog was going crazy and knocked her over and she broke her arm. And get this- she didnt want me to call 911 or anything because shes so low in money, and she doesnt have insurance or something like that. So she still has a sling that I gave her to help with her arm. Thats why i have to get her groceries, she cant drive a car.
