I believe the skins and Jets are beatable, for us. Tough one, the skins, but, winnable. Coming home 3-1 or 4-0 leaves us with a tough Bill game. then a VERY tough "chip" game. I'm thinking, that by this game we'll be 5-0 or 4-1, with no room for 'chip ' fans at the stadium. We play a similar style of football, however, we are deeper and want it more. THEY, on the other hand, think this one they should pencil in as a W. They have never taken us seriously.
Then Carolina and the "whiners".
I see us at 7-2 or 8-1 at this point. There is still the outside possibility of being 9-0.Call me ,(insert a name here), but I do believe this is a statement year for us.
No i'm not delusional, psychotic, or stoned.

i would love to see a 2-0 road trip, but would be very happy with a split.

Not to sound like a coach, but I could care less about week 4, 8, or 16 right now.
We are playing a team that, had we beat last year, we would have been in the playoffs. truth be said, we handed them the game last year with crucial turnovers and missed opportunities.

I can say with confidence that we are a better team today than the one that went into Washington last year. If we play to our potential, don't turn the ball over , and play good special teams, we WILL win this game.

The way this seasonis going I'm going to savor every minute form each Sunday victory to the next kickoff. Thinking beyond that only takes away from the sweet taste of our early success.

Keeping It In Perspective....

I was reading over on Yahoo "Rumors" comments from "Edge" & Kurt and they were basically saying, "We haven't accomplished ANYTHING yet. (Mentioned the (6-2) Lions of last year) ...And this is where we EXPECTED to be so we're NOT surprised." They're taking it (1) week at a time and I plan to do the same. BUT I can say I'm smiling ALOT more in the time between games. This team is going to be DANGEROUS!! GO CARDS!!

I will say this. We SHOULD get better as the year progresses. Rooks getting the hang of things (Hightower, DRC, CC, et al) and Watson back and staying (hopefully) healthy, no reason why we can't put a few more notches in the "W" column..............starting with this Sunday........

The best thing that happened for us is Washington winning this past weekend. I think they would been playing in desperation mode (always dangerous to face a team in that mindset).

Now, I think they will be a bit overconfident -- and that's just where we want them.

The Cards, as much of the team is saying, haven't proven a damm thing yet, other than they revenged some horrific losses to the 9ers, and beat-up a horrendous Miami team at home...

The next two weeks define this season. Yup... if we lose both, this season could be very difficult to salvage...
If we split - I really like our chances for something special this year.
And if we go 2 & 0 (I do not at all expect to see this...), we could be in store for a post season to remember...

It used to be that when the Cards played on the road, let alone back to back road games, it was simply a reason to not watch football on Sunday...
IMO, they have done enough to make you want to watch, but until they actually do something beyond playing competitively - you know... WIN, they have not accomplished a thing...

Nothing in the NFL is easy. Even if you're really good.

Be very, very happy if you're 6-3 after 9.

I would suggest, to anyone thinking otherwise, That I would be very happy with a 2-3 game win over loss record at that point. I am merely, also suggesting, that it feels different this year. I know we've been dummied down in prior years. However, this really doesn't have the same aura about it. MY concern, if any, is peaking too soon.
