Nashville SC can tie its longest-ever win streak on Saturday. What's more, it can accomplish that against one of its biggest rivals.

Nashville (3-1-1, 10 points) hosts FC Cincinnati (2-2-1, seven points) at Geodis Park at 7:30 p.m. in a matchup with plenty of history. The teams have faced off 13 times since 2018 and nine times since Nashville joined MLS in 2020.

Nashville has won its last three games by a combined score of 8-1. It's had three separate four-game winning streaks in its history, the most recent taking place from May 17-June 3, 2023.

The rivalry between Nashville and Cincinnati dates back to when both clubs played in the United Soccer League in 2018. They tied three times during the regular season before Cincinnati eliminated Nashville on penalties in the USL quarterfinals. Cincinnati joined MLS in 2019.

Nashville is 3-2-3 against Cincinnati in MLS regular-season play and beat Cincinnati on penalties in the 2023 Leagues Cup round of 32.

Cincinnati won the Supporters Shield in 2023 and finished third in the Eastern Conference last season but underwent major changes heading into 2025. It traded 2023 MVP Lucho Acosta to FC Dallas, acquired Portland Timbers star Evander and signed forward Kevin Denkey for a then-MLS record transfer fee of $16.2 million.
