Ryan Zimmerman has been reinstated from the 15-day disabled list. Zimmerman was in the lineup Tuesday to make his left field debut for the Washington Nationals against the Philadelphia Phillies. Zimmerman missed 44 games with a broken right thumb, and the Nationals used the absence to convert the career third baseman into an outfielder. Zimmerman has had throwing issues for several seasons because of shoulder problems, and Anthony Rendon has taken over at third base.
