Sadly I think NAU will get blown out but that 44 point spread may be a safe bet. Nice payday for the 'Jacks expecially considering they don't have to charter a flight for the trip.

NAU CAN win this one if the Sun Devils are caught looking ahead to next weeks Utah St tilt. :D

It was probably nice for NAU to get a huge win last week (44-3) although I think they will be on the receiving end of a similar drubbing this week.

No injuries for either team is the goal.

That is one reason why I don't think ASU will cover the spread - if ASU is up by 30 in the second half, Koetter will pull the starters (or at least I would think he would) - no reason to risk injuring Walther or any other starter in the last half of a blowout.

I seriously doubt Koetter is coaching with an eye on the point spread....e

murrietta played well. I went to high school with the kid. I was a year older so when i was a senior he was a junior and SUCKED! He waited in the pocket too long, fumbled it too much. But he did take Ironwood to the state championship game the year after i left, so he must have improved....

Damn, ASU's passing D must improve. Too many big plays, and we're lucky that NAU dropped a few passes WIDE OPEN.

The running game still stinks. Not sure if Koetter was just trying to get everybody involved last night.

Walter didn't seem sharp enough. Wanted to see him just absolutely pick apart NAU. I'll attribute that to the first game bugs.

ASU is going to have to do something about the D if they have ANY chance of being a top-echelon PAC-10 team.

NAU played their asses off. It was good to see because most of those guys are from Phoenix.

We did better than I expected - I think NAU is going to have a good season this year.

59 Players saw action in this game, and the only two throws walter made that were long ended up as Touchdowns. We ran more than passed. 3/4th of the game was played by back-ups. NAU played a good game against non-starters. When the starters were in, NAU couldn't keep up. They do have an awesome freakin reciever in Clarence Moore. Great job by the 'Jacks.
