Draymond just said it wasn't what we did it was what they did. Showing some class for a change.

Oh Lebron and Kyrie were great and the defense was awesome in teh 4th but Kerr lost that game with his sub patterns. After the first half how he possibly could think going back to Ezeli and then Varejao in the 3rd made sense I'll never understand. gave up the lead and then when they got it back he inexplicably put Ezeli back in and lost it again.

Curry had a nightmare 4th quarter he'll be hearing about that all offseason.

Irving was very special but Lebron was a driven man. There was no denying him a championship. Lebron earned his superstar reputation and more tonight.

An incredible play but why Iggy doesn't try to dunk that I'll never get. he'd just done the same thing earlier and missed both FT's and you have to know LeBron is coming. If he tries to dunk that Smith probably fouls him at worst.

Live I thought it was a goaltend but totally clean block just an unreal play by LBJ

I thought he tried to lay it up because he had to go under Smith first. Iguodala from 5-10 years ago might have still been able to dunk it, but not the older guy with back problems. I told my brother at half time I expected the Warriors to run away with it in the second half. They went on a few mini runs, but then Cleveland would come right back. At least we get a really competitive game basically from start to finish.

The funny thing is what Lue said at halftime came true. he said they hit some shots by guys we are ok wtih shooting but everyone has to trust the plan and stick wtih it. LeBron got killed in the first half helping off guys and his man nailing 3's, but he made one huge defensive play after another in the 2nd half doing the same thing and those 3's by the other guys stopped falling. That 3 by Kyrie man Curry played that as well as you can defend a 3 without blocking it but he just leaned back and hit it. That and the lefty layup were spectacular.

The thing is that has been happening the whole postseason he gets the break and then goes up and under or tries that underhand flip. he made one against Portland but by and large he's been missing. he'd just done it earlier and missed and then missed both ft's so at that point if he goes for the dunk Smith probably fouls him. You have to go up strong there especially the way LeBron chases down plays you have to attack the rim. I know he's hurt but I've been saying this for over a month now he is not elevating on the break I don't know if he's been hurt all along or what but it happened over and over in the playoffs.

Great play by Smith to contest and great block by LeBron.

Wow...what a great game. Lost $50 bucks but it was worth it or a great great game. Making history and pulling out an unavailable series. Honestly, between the GSW/Thunder series and this one?

Some of the best NBA playoffs I have seen in the final two rounds in a long time.

Eh happy for Cleveland I guess but the series was to tainted for me personally. GS vs OKC was better than this series as in real basketball. Their is a reason no one has ever came back from a 3-1 deficit, because the other team was clearly better! But the NBA had their plans and it all worked out for their golden boy, blah blah great story, series was over in 5 without the suspension and BS officiating. It's over now so whatever, but as about a tainted finals as I can ever remember.

This game was about as evenly reffed as possible. Cleveland shot more FT's because they attacked the rim more. The Warriors have nobody to blame but themselves, too many quick threes and Kerr playing the wrong lineup so much

I didn't say this game Russ. And everyone can see it however they want, I see it as the Cavs were helped along the way and very noticeably at times. They won tonight congrats GS did not play well but honestly they shouldn't have been in a game 7 situation. I call it how I see it Lebron had a great series but definitely got lots of help. First rematch next season GS wipes the floor with them you know regular season officiating, not thug ball!

Yup the best regular season team ever. Who cares. You sound like Cardinal fans that thought the refs were in the tank for Pittsburgh in the 08 SB. Even though the game was over on the converted 3rd down called back for holding giving us 2 points and the ball back to take the lead. If you're the best team ever or even in the ball park you win up 3-1 no matter what end of story.

Sure Dude you win no matter what. Very simplistic view of the series, it's over now so it is what it is. Again when is the last finals any of you can think of where the officiating was clearly a major factor? People wonder why some think the NBA is rigged and watching a series like this will only fuel the fire. The better team did not win IMO, Lebron won and GS and its fans have a legitimate right to be upset about how it all transpired.

All there is to it if they are half the team you say they are.

Splash brothers go what 17 and 14? What all time great team doesn't win that up 3-1. Turnovers, bad shots, bad lineups and a 3 ball only team going cold is what went wrong. Do think the 72 and 10 MJ team gets beat like this under the exact same circumstances?

Add:
A 73 and 9 team went 7 and 7 the last 14 games.

Refs?

When is the last time? I don't know still waiting for an example. I had money on GSW and you couldn't be more wrong. The NBA isn't rigged and this series came down to poor defense, timely missed shots and allowing the opponent to get in their heads.

Refs?!? What a bunch of nonsense.

Lol if you think the officials had nothing to do with the outcome of this finals... I'm done honestly if you think GS all of a sudden became a bad team then I'm not sure what your watching. Did Cleveland get in their head maybe because they beat them up and were Allowed to, that if anything was what was in their head. GS earned their way to the finals thru tougher teams than Cleveland, while Cleveland coasted thru crap ass teams. Then a well rested untested Cavs team was able to beat on them until they had a gimpy igudala, no green for a game, no bogut but sure it was just bad luck and shots not falling that caused GS to lose. Like I said believe what you want many saw the ridiculous crap that was going on. So you prob think if James was ejected by a bogus call tonight with 4 minutes left Cleveland could have won right? Oh wait that was a different screw job against GS but sure this whole series was totally officiated fairly lol what a joke! Whatever let Cleveland revel in their BS title, GS got shafted in multiple games to make it happen maybe it's all just coincidence...

Utter nonsense. Nobody is saying there were not bad calls but none of that explained the poor decisions on the court, bad rotations, giving up easy buckets, going cold at bad moments and frankly bad decision making by several of the players.

What a copout.

Oh sorry forgot everyone is supposed to stay perfectly composed and play as they all the BS going against them lol. Utter nonsense is dismissing that they weren't getter screwed often, yeah they should suck it up and beat the team and the officials seems like a real fair fight. So the first games that were being called straight both solidly won when it was being called fairly then suddenly switched to prolong what would have been a short series, it's all just coincidence I get it you actually believe that. It's all GS fault they suck and didn't execute, or in reality weren't able to execute their offense because of the clutching, holding, body checks, getting up of the floor every possession, I get it you think they should just play they all that. Lebrons size lets him run people over and get layups that's their whole offense give the ball to Lebron and drive or drive and kick. Well GS actually runs a team offense that works when it's allowed to, the Cavs took it away by playing dirty the officials allowed it, simple as that. See it or don't see it I don't care it's over so if you see it as all legit that's your opinion. Most I know and many ESPN talking heads all thought Cleveland was getting away with way to much and it worked for them. Much like many sports the best team doesn't always win and this is an example of that. Some play team basketball, some play thug ball which prevailed this time. At least their was one great series with GS and OKC because this one was a crock!

GSW had three chances (two at home) to win the title the past three games and blew it. That's not on the refs, that's on GSW. A 73-win team got too comfortable and a little full of itself after Game 4 and Cleveland gut punched them. I firmly believe that the charades from Klay, Draymond, Speights, and, to a lesser extent, Ayesha Curry, really struck a nerve with Cleveland. That, and Lue finding out the beauty of defensive rotations.

The NBA isn't rigged. The officiating is inconsistent, I'll give you that. But until either of the New York teams can produce a team worth watching, I can't/won't even come close to buying it.

Lebron James. 7 out of the last 10 years in the NBA Finals. Most recently, 2 teams, 6 straight NBA Finals appearances, 3 titles. Basically, if Lebron James is on your team, you're going to the Finals. I can argue he is probably the MVP every, single year. This year, brought his team back to win the Championship down 3-1 in the NBA Finals. 32 other teams have attempted to do this, all have failed, until now. Michael Jordan is the greatest I've ever seen. I think it's pretty obvious at this point, Lebron is the second.

If you were going to pick a game to complain about FT's though this would have been the one. Steph and Klay combined for 1 FTA, but that's because of the shots they took. Cleveland played great and won it, and as Antonio Davis just said on ESPN "I don't understand what Steve Kerr was doing in game 7. Had the wrong lineup in way too much and why were they instinctively switching everything when the Cavs wanted them to switch so they could get mismatches. Where were the adjustments from kerr?"

I slept on it and I wakeup to Mike and Mike asking the exact same questions with Davis and Legler etc. Why did he keep putting Ezeli and Varejao in the game? Why did the Warriors switch everything giving Cleveland mismatches. Why did Klay and Steph take so many rushed shots in the 4th quarter. One team executed down the stretch and still barely scored, the other just fell apart. Interested to see if they get back I thought SA was going to win this year. If OKC keeps Durant I think you have to favor them in the West next year. So right now kerr and Curry have a whole offseason to figure out how they gave away a title.
