Golden State looks good early. It's a pretty solid team. They knocked off the Clippers tonight.

There's some mistake with the Charlotte-Dallas game

It says that the game ended 126-99 for Dallas, and the box score does add up to those numbers. However, watching the video recap, the score was 94-82 1 minute before the end, and they say the game ended 99-86 for Dallas. Ofcourse that is true, because it's highly unlikely that 40+ points were scored in the last minute so that the game ends 126-99 hah, but the box score is seriously broken.

That was the score with like a minute left in the 3rd quarter.

The Warriors did lose Brandon Rush for the season with a torn ACL so there is that concerning depth. I do like Carl Landry off the bench who is a much underrated player. I guess it's too early in the season for me to me overly impressed by most teams.

The Warriors are a pretty talented bunch but even with our training staff I'm not sure you could keep a couple of their big guns on the court. At a minimum, I don't see Bogut or Curry lasting the season. I also don't see their players putting up with Mark Jackson for long. I have no evidence to base that on, it's just that he's my least favorite sports announcer/analyst since George Raveling so I figure he'll end up back in the booth soon.

the spurs are looking good again. i am a little surprised with how good the mavs look so far....the collison addition is so much better than where they would be if kidd didn't walk out. OJ Mayo looks like he is trying to make his best terry impersonation with how many 3's he is going to shoot this year. I'm happy that the lakers suck so far.

I would not argue this point whatsoever.

spurs are a good team, but I'm starting to wonder if they are too old to win another ring without doing some major changes. I guess they have been good at building around their big 3. i always forget that tony parker is actually still young.

I'm not saying you're slow or anything but the rest of the sports world has been openly speculating about this for at least 3 years. What took you so long?:)

According to some on here, we are currently better than GSW

Well Klay Thompson might be a better pure scorer than any Suns player. Suns have always lacked that. The closest they got to that was Jason Richardson IMO. Dudley is a spot up shooter. Beasley is a good scorer but too inconsistent on a nightly basis. Brown ditto. Afflalo is a very good scorer. Look what he did tot he Suns yesterday. That's the type of player the Suns need to get on another level. Right now it just looks like it's Dragic driving into the paint and finding Scola or Gortat. These 3 have done their part. The others haven't.

No kidding. They are a good solid team. But just too old. Look what okc did to them in the western finals.

OJ Mayo has back-to-back 30+ games but at least we told him we would sign him as a bench player because we are building around Dudley.. so Mayo signed a small 1 year deal with Dallas.

I doubt the Suns told him that, because the SG position was still open even to Brown heading into training camp and preseason. I'm guessing Mayo expected the starting job to be handed to him immediately if he were to sign and the Suns told him he would have to compete for it with Dudley. Mayo wanted starter guarantee so he went to Dallas.

Looking back, the best move would have been to guarantee Mayo the starting SG spot and give Dudley the starting SF spot, but the Suns were in too much of a rush to beat the competition (nobody) to signing Beasley.

This would make the team much better defensively and probably not have an overall offensive drop off.

Mayo is on fire from 3 right now making 18-27 in four games for an average of 67%. He will be a better scorer than Dudley this year no doubt and I would like to have him right now, but it isn't something that I am upset about. Now not going after Harden and then seeing the start he has had to the season, that's a tough pill to swallow.

We didnt have the ammo to get Harden IMO. The failure in acquiring him happened over the last several years as the front office has put together very few enticing trade pieces that are required to land a player of that caliber.

Mayo is still a possibility next summer. We can watch and see if he performs consistently. Wow, Beasley sure looks like a mess.

If the Suns wanted Mayo, they would've paid him. I think it was smart for them to pass—it would've made the rebuilding effort that much more difficult (Mayo's three-point outbursts will surely simmer down sooner than later). Neither Mayo nor Gordon are worth over $12 million per year, and it's a good thing in the long term that the Suns missed out on both.
