The Indiana Pacers have two regular-season games remaining, but they know a lot about their playoff position.

With their win Thursday night over the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Pacers locked up the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference standings. If they win out and the New York Knicks lose out, Indiana can get the No. 3 seed.

The Pacers will open the playoffs at home, either against the Milwaukee Bucks or the Detroit Pistons. Indiana lost the season series to the Bucks 3-1, and the Pacers beat the Pistons 3-1. The Bucks and Pistons play each other twice this weekend.

The Cavaliers are the Eastern Conference No. 1 seed, and would play the Pacers in the East semifinals if each wins their first-round series.
