The Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets series has been everything fans can ask for and more. Both teams have won games on the road and it is now down to a best-of-three series.
The two teams will go back to Denver for Game Five on Tuesday following a thrilling 101-99 win for the Denver Nuggets on Saturday. The Nuggets held on for the win after blowing a 22-point lead earlier in the game.
While the game was an instant classic, how it ended is the big story. The NBA recapped the final seconds of the thriller:
Aaron Gordon put back a Nikola Jokic missed shot as time expired. The play was reviewed and the officials confirmed that the ball left his hands above the rim just before time expired. Following the game, Gordon smiled and said "nice pass," about the Jokic shot.

Gordon finished the game with 14 points and six rebounds in 42 minutes of action. Denver used all five starters for 42+ minutes in the game. Jokic was the top scorer for Denver. The big man scored 36 points and ripped down a game-high 21 rebounds. Denver played without Russell Westbrook in this game with left foot inflammation.
In the loss, the Clippers saw four players score in double figures. Kawhi Leonard led the way with 24 points. Norman Powell contributed 22 points. Ivica Zubac and James Harden both recorded a double-double in the game. Zubac scored 19 points and added 12 rebounds while Harden scored 15 and dished out 11 assists.
The game also included a skirmish between the teams. It happened just before the end of the first half. The result was six technical fouls issued, including one on Jokic.
There is no surprise how competitive this series has been. Both teams came into the postseason with 50-32 records in the regular season. The Nuggets went 26-15 at home in the regular season while Los Angeles was 20-21 on the road.
The winner of this series will get the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder in the second round. The Thunder made quick and easy work of the Memphis Grizzlies in four games.
