Doesn’t help that Jones was critical of Sean Miller’s coaching when Ayton was drafted.

I'm more interested in the player than the coaching although if the Suns thought Ayton was near a finished product, then that might be an issue. A lot of players coming into the NBA are not close to being finished products.

Least of all Ayton, who was introduced to the game relatively late, and who never had any good steady coaching...

Another example where second round picks have trade value. Dallas is being proactive while crickets chirp in Phoenix.

Too bad the Suns have traded their future second round picks away.

Willie Cauley-Stein is on a two-year minimum contract- $2.17M and $2.28M. The second year has a player option. As a result of the trade, Dallas will waive Justin Patton.

Watch us pick up Patton. Instead of being proactive, James Jones just scoops up leftovers and rejects.

For the record, the Suns traded away their 2020 and 2021 second round picks in the Josh Jackson trade.

Wha? You say that “crickets chirp” about 2nd round picks the. Go on to say that the Suns traded their 2nd rounders away. Contradictory statements.

At least I won't have to worry about missing an NBA trade during the Super Bowl.

It looks like the Rockets are seriously engaged in talks to trade Clint Capela.

The Rockets are reportedly in talks with Eastern Conference teams to acquire an impact wing and a center.

The Rockets are engaged in three-way trade possibilities that might allow for them to use Capela to gather the draft assets needed to acquire an impact wing player, league sources said.

In talks around the league, the Rockets are expressing hope they can find a deal -- or a series of deals -- that would bring them back a wing and a center for Capela by Thursday's 3 p.m. ET trade deadline, sources said.

It's like the Knicks aren't going anywhere and they can re-sign Morris this summer as he will be a free agent.

I think the Knicks are trying to drive up the price.
