Saver doesn't deserve to be anywhere near the top 10. James Jones, Kurt Thomas, Joe Johnson and soon to be Amare Stoudemire are all reasons why he's one of the worst owners in the league. (Great fan, but bad owner).

Horrible list. So you are telling me that there are 10 better owners than Dr. Jerry Buss?

Seriously, Michael Heisler is better owner than Dr. Buss? Really? The owner of the Memphis effin Grizzles is better than Dr. Buss?

The Lakers have been THE most successful franchise in all of american professional sports since he has been the owner. Any list that doesn't include him isn't worth the paper it was written on (or cyber space as it were). Dr. Buss bought the Lakers in 1979. In that time, the Lakers have missed the playoffs only twice. They have won 8 NBA Championships and played in 14 NBA Finals (or basically half of the NBA Finals since he has owned the team). Hell, even his WNBA team has won 2 Championships.

Beyond just the success, he isn't meddlesome and lets his GMs do their job without interfering. He has never let money get in front of the success of the team and has no problem playing the luxury tax if it means that the team has a chance to win the title. Also, the Lakers are the second most valuable franchise in the league. So exactly how can anyone claim that he isn't one of the best owner's in the NBA? Much less not even in the top 10?

Orlando's owner looks a lot like Bob Dole.
