NBC is now removed from Dish.

I haven't seen any news on this. I turn on my TV and it's on NBC. I guy is talking say that NBC has not renewed their contract and dish had to block/remove them for now. Well that sucks.

First thing I thought and checked was to see if the cards were playing on that channel, luckily they are on Fox.

You can still watch NBC over the air with an antenna.

It seems like I see these kinds of scares every year with DirecTV but they never materialize. Mostly the threat is to lose AMC and/or FXX but it hasn't happened yet.

I was a Directv subscriber for about 15 years and switched to Dish about 6 months ago. I am pretty happy with it and I get Pac 12 Network. I don't get as many HD channels but most of the channels that aren't HD are kids channels and they don't care. That is about the only drawback I can think of. I love the dish anywhere app and the primetime live and auto hop features are great.

This happens all the time with both big satellite companies. Maybe cable too for all I know. Haven't had cable for 17 years though.

It's a negotiating tactic. Eventually they will compromise and it will be back on.

I love Dish...sunday ticket would be nice but I like redzone a lot anyway....The Cards score quite a bit so they are on RedZone quite a bit.
