NCAA President Mark Emmert says he supports a proposal to allow conferences to increase grants to student athletes by $2,000, "to more closely approach" the full cost of attending college, beyond the athletic scholarships athletes receive for tuition, fees, room, board and books. I call B S. Pandora's box.

Yep it will help some kids but schools who cheat will still cheat so it won't solve that.

It's also not clear to me how they're going to make this "fair?"

Some schools have players whose family have to cover expenses, some schools have players who have money left over.
