With Texas women's basketball passing the first test of the NCAA Tournament after beating William & Mary 105-61, they can spend the day preparing for its next opponent: Illinois.

With using just six players, Illinois defeated Creighton 66-57. It was a tight game, exactly as Illinois head coach Shauna Green expected.

"We work our fourth quarter every single day in practice. We lost our last two games and we lost them because of the five-minute battle," she said in the press conference after the game.

Genesis Bryant paced Illinois with 17 points while adding four assists.

Texas was led by SEC player of the year Madison Booker's 20 points on 8-for-11 shooting from the field. The Longhorns racked up 26 assists on 41 field goals.
