The women's college basketball transfer portal officially opened March 25, and more than 1,000 names entered.

Here is a list of the Indiana products at the Division I level who are on the move. We'll be updating this list as they find their new homes.

Cristen Carter, Butler (Ben Davis) — COMMITTED TO GEORGETOWN


The 6-4 forward averaged 5.3 points and 4.2 rebounds in her second season of eligibility. Carter, who started in 14 of the 32 games she appeared in (15.3 minutes per game), shot 57.4% from the field and also totaled 20 blocks. She has two seasons of eligibility remaining.


Katie Davidson, IU Indy (Lawrence North) — COMMITTED TO SOUTH FLORIDA


Davidson, who played her first two seasons at Miami (Ohio), was limited to 18 games this season. She averaged a career-high 19.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.6 steals. The 5-10 senior shot 50% from the field and 46.9% from 3.

Ra Shaya Kyle, Florida (Marion) — COMMITTED TO MIAMI


Kyle played two seasons at Purdue before moving to Gainesville, where she averaged 14.2 points and 8.7 rebounds with a 59.5% mark from the field and 78.3% mark from the line. She heads to Miami with 989 career points and a season of eligibility remaining.

Madison Layden-Zay, Purdue (Northwestern) — RE-COMMITTED TO PURDUE


Not technically a transfer, but Layden-Zay announced in March she would be returning to Purdue for her final season of eligibility after sitting out last season.

Riley Makalusky, Butler (Hamilton Southeastern) — COMMITTED TO WEST VIRGINIA


The 6-2 guard totaled 474 points, 160 rebounds and 66 assists in two seasons at Butler. Makalusky averaged 8.1 points and shot 37% as a sophomore. She has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Karsyn Norman, Butler (Bedford North Lawrence) — COMMITTED TO BALL STATE


Norman, a 5-6 guard, started in 26 of 32 games this season, averaging 3.2 points and 2.6 assists. She made a name for herself in high school as a lockdown defender, and heads to Ball State with two years of eligibility remaining.

Jordyn Poole, Purdue (FW Snider) — COMMITTED TO DAYTON


Injury limited Poole to just eight games played (one start) in her first collegiate season. She totaled 22 points, 11 assists, six rebounds and four steals as a Boilermaker.

Daijah Smith, Illinois State (Gary Lighthouse) — COMMITTED TO ARKANSAS-FORT SMITH (D-II)


Smith has made stops at Indiana State (2018-19), UIC (2019-21), Wabash Valley (2021-22) and, after missing her junior season due to injury, Illinois State in 2023-24. She did not appear in any games in 2024-25.

Alana Striverson, Evansville (Silver Creek) — COMMITTED TO UINDY


Striverson, a 5-10 guard, began her career at Lindenwood where she appeared in 25 games (16 starts) as a sophomore in 2022-23. She started in 11 of 18 games as a junior at Evansville in 2023-24, averaging 7.9 points. She did not appear in any games this season.

Still in the portal

Layla Gold, Valparaiso (Cathedral)​


Gold started in 31 of 32 games as a sophomore, averaging seven points and 1.6 assists on 38% shooting. She logged 28.8 minutes per game and enters the portal with 319 career points.


Rashunda Jones, Purdue (South Bend Washington)​


The 5-8 guard is coming off a breakout sophomore capmaign wherein she averaged 107 assists and 283 points over 29 games (17 starts). She totaled 518 points and 159 assists in her first two seasons as a Boilermaker.

Amiyah Reynolds, Purdue (South Bend Washington)​


Injury sidelined Reynolds her freshman season. The 6-0 guard appeared in 23 games as a sophomore (eight starts), averaging 1.9 points, 1.3 assists and 2.2 rebounds. She shot 34% from the field.

Mila Reynolds, Purdue (South Bend Washington)​


Reynolds is in the portal for the second time in her career. She appeared in 22 games as a freshman at Maryland and in 27 off the bench as a sophomore at Purdue (averaged 2.4 points in 7.8 minutes per game). She did not appear in any games this season as a junior.

Hailey Smith, Ball State (Fishers)​


The 5-10 sophomore guard played in 13 games as a freshman, then appeared in sevne games this past season, totaling seven points and four rebounds.

Jayla Smith, Purdue (Lawrence North)​


Smith appeared in 94 games with five starts in four seasons at Purdue, averaging 15.5 minutes per game and totaling 503 points (5.4 per game), 168 rebounds, 82 assists and 64 steals. She appeared in just two games this past season.

Olivia Smith, Ball State (Fishers)​


Olivia Smith appeared in 13 games across her two seasons at Ball State. She recorded 13 points, a block, a steal and 14 rebounds during that time.

Saige Stahl, Indiana State (Columbus East)​



Tanyuel Welch, Memphis (North Central)​


The 5-10 redshirt sophomore guard is coming off a career year. She averaged 10.7 points, 4.4 rebounds 3.1 assists and totaled 35 steals in 30 games played (25 starts). She has 446 points, 133 steals and 202 rebounds through her first two collegiate seasons. She missed the 2023-24 campaign due to injury.
