The rumor is that the Dolphins seriously considers releasing Suh because of his enormous salary cap-hit next season.

I have been wondering if it would be a good idea for the Cardinals to pursue him. Obviously, it would be dependent on him signing a new contract with a significant lower wage than his current deal.

My thinking is that Suh might be the dominant presence at the defensive line that the team lost with Calais Campbell. Maybe Robert Nkemdiche will develop into that guy, but I don’t think he is there yet. Suh has been playing really well for the Dolphins the last four years. I think the reason why he has not been a lot in the media the last couple of years is that he plays for a bad team, and maybe that he has not made the same controversial things as he previously did.

Also, Steve Wilks and Al Holcomb has witnessed first hand what a dominant defensive line can do while they were at Carolina. I don’t think it’s crazy to think they have been influenced with how the Panthers have continually invested huge resources into having great defensive lines, whether the team has payed a lot of money to veterans or used their highest draft picks on the unit.

This is not really to say that I would sign Suh. I don't know if I would. I just think the thought are fascinating and interesting.

$22M in dead money for Suh has to be a record but when you have a chance to get rid of your best defensive player a couple days after you shipped out your best offensive player you have to take it.

Both guys are knuckleheads one way or another. Landry likes to party, and I bet they have oodles of information of how he parties at south beach. Before he was drafted, he was out in Scottsdale every night. That probably hasn't changed.

If Miami is trying to get rid of knuckleheads, it's a tough but probably needed decision.

No. But I would not have a problem if he came here and stomped the hell out of the three teams in our division. HELL YES.
