This is the kind of stuff that is usually written about the Pats, Cowboys, Steelers, Broncos, etc. I can't remember something like this about the Cards... like, ever.

Once again on Sunday, this team confronted adversity, chewed it up and spit it out underneath the Gatorade bucket on the sidelines. If you haven't been paying attention, you might want to start drinking it all in -- for it's becoming abundantly clear that when confronted with tough circumstances, this is what the Cardinals do.

Favorite part:

"And Bruce is just tremendous. Some people may view him as a 'players' coach,' but throughout the week he's tough on these guys. He grinds them and holds them highly accountable. He coaches them hard. And yet they want to play hard for him. It's a unique quality in a coach."

What I saw yesterday that blew me away... after Carson's Pick-6, note how calm and collected everyone was.

Contrast that with the constant blow-ups that occured on the Dallas sideline. Player frustration, screaming, Dez getting in Weeden's face, some guy throwing his gloves around, etc. I kept thinking... they are only down by four... why are they freaking out?

I was in shock comparing the temperament of both teams as the game went on. Once we went up by 11 in the 4th... tons of Dallas players had that "game over - we lost" look on their faces... the look so many of us long term Card fans have seen from our team in the past.

I think the Warner led Cardinal teams may have been better than the current version... but there is something special about this current roster.

Go Cards!!!

I think this is the real reason Tomlin wanted Arians gone.
He seems like the insecure type, who didn't want his replacement just a few office doors down the hall.

He knew LeBeau wan't a threat.

I think the offense was better but I would give the nod to the current defense and maybe the overall team as a whole. One thing that gets overlooked quite a bit is how bad the NFC West was then. During the regular season in the year we went to the Super Bowl I think we were 6-0 in the division and 3-7 outside. We had a great playoff run but this year is by far the best regular season first half that the Arizona Cardinals have ever had.
