Nebraska football extended an offer to 2027 four-star defensive end Brayden Parks earlier this week.
Parks measures in at six-foot-three, 305 pounds. He is not ranked in the 24Sports Rankings, but he does have a growing offer sheet. Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, USC, and Wisconsin are the other Big Ten schools vying for his services.
The Huskers have been focusing their recruiting efforts in the Midwest over this class. One of the top targets to this point has been quarterback Trae Taylor. Nevertheless, Parks could also be viewed as a priority player due to his skill set.
The Huskers have done a solid job in recruiting the defense of one position over the past couple of classes. Tyson Terry and Malcolm Simpson headline the defensive line position for 2025. Players such as Riley Van Poppel and Keona Davis figure to help stabilize the defensive line as well. The program has not been shy in recruiting defensive linemen. Parks would be another solid addition to the fold.
