Need help with MSN

All of a sudden, my MSN won't open. I can access my e-mail account from other computers, but not from mine. I can still get on the web through Internet Explorer though. When I start my PC I get this message:

Port Magic - - Corrupt Binary

the executable files in Port Magic are corrupt, please re-install.

Is this "Port Magic" what is screwing up my MSN? I don't remember installing Port Magic, so I have no idea how to re-install it. Anyone?

Boy, sounds like you need Microsoft's free Anti-Spyware program. If you google it, you'll find it. It is pretty good. Other than that, upgrading to the newest version of MSN Messenger has worked wonders for me in the past.

Port Magic, if I recall is a product from AOL that configures your network or something. Did you used to have AOL? See if you can remove it from Add/Remove Programs

Yes, my wife had AOL. I'll try removing it. Thanks.
