My company has recently licensed a terrific software package that will:

- serve as our main transaction management platform

- allow our clients and customers to access their data whenever and wherever they desire

- allow our suppliers to access and enter their respective data

It's sequel server, .net based and web-enabled...

We are struggling with coming up with a cool brand name for the software... One of our motto's is Connect vs. Control and so we've been trying to come up with a name that correlates closely to that sentiment...

Would love any suggestions any of you are willing to offer!

Thanks!

You mean SQL :)

How about "Bridge to Confidence". As a bridge is a vehicle for connecting people and having confidence is a way of showing control.

The only thing I don't like about that is if it goes down, people will call it the "Bridge to Nowhere"

Bridge to Confidence is cool... Kinda looking for something much shorter though... Like GlobalConnect, WorldLink...

Thanks!

My bad, I thought you were looking for a slogan. My reading comprehension is slowing down or something

why connect versus control? What does your firm actually do -- I mean, what kinds of clients or businesses would use this?

I googled "connect versus control" and came up with http://www.bristolglobal.com/

Based on a picture I saw of 82 in the past, the guy in the yellow shirt at the top of the page with the Joe the Plumber haircut is 82.

Looks like 82's company offers supplementary HR services/consulting.

What about "Easy Connect". If you really touting the ease of accessing information, it should be something along those lines.

Beat me to the punch, though "Bridge to Confidence" and SQL Server might be a bit of a stretch as it has to run on Windows

You are right and indeed, the platform is very "easy" to use... Just not sure "Easy Connect" is as provocative as I think we're looking for...

I was going to say C2 (with a superscripted 2 as in Squared), kind of the same meaning Connect vs Control... But I always like short - the shorter the better and they look good as logos...
