Nelly Korda vaults to No. 1 in world rankings

Nelly Korda officially vaulted to No. 1 in the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings, following her victory at the Women's PGA Championship on Sunday. The top spot is now occupied by somebody from the United States for just the third time ever. Stacy Lewis held the No. 1 spot for a month in 2013 and five months in 2014, while Cristie Kerr led for five weeks in 2010.
